Hello all, I’m taking over for my colleague Rebecca Ballhaus as your White House pooler for the day.
The motorcade is heading out as of 12:59 pm for the short drive across town to Capitol Hill. We’re in a double motorcade since Vice President Pence is also heading over.
The pool was at a distance but could see President Trump and VP Pence walking out together. They both jumped into the beast. We couldn’t see who else joined them.
The previous event — signing of anti-human trafficking legislation — started very late. POTUS had an intelligence briefing scheduled for noon. Your pooler has inquired if the intel briefing was cancelled or postponed. No response yet.
I take D3 everyday. I have Vicks. I rarely get really sick, sometimes my sinuses get messed up from allergies but it goes away, so hope I don’t this time.

The extended POTUS-VP motorcade pulled in front of the Capitol steps at 1:04 pm.
Potus stopped at the steps and said a few words. The pool was still getting into place so we missed the first couple of words, but he was very brief.
He said:
“Last night was a big victory for republicans”
“Tremendous republican support...Unwavering”

Also, an update on an earlier pool report: President Trump DID receive his intelligence briefing before departing for the Capitol, per Sarah Sanders. Departure was slightly delayed for that reason.
Yes, unlike a real restaurant that they park in front of & steal customers from, taco trucks don't have to get permits, pay property taxes or even comply with parking requirements, pass health inspections...... Isn't this lawlessness what Maggie is advocating? So why should she be all uptight about meat inspections?
My mother canned things sometimes, but I never paid attention so never have done it. I have grown or picked some things and frozen or dehydrated.
I got e coli once from bagged salad. The government did give a warning, after hundreds, including me, got it. I’m sure the private sector can do that well.

I’ve been there. More than once. So even when I was making very good money I never wasted food or anything else. Worked out, because when I wasn’t working I had saved money so I could still pay my bills.
I’m sure many of us here have the same experience. Too bad more younger people haven’t learned that lesson.
Yes that was a thing of beauty. Notice how the media demands Trump answer all of their questions (which he does) but Karl repeatedly refuses to answer the question asked by POTUS.
