No wifi last evening til I went to sleep about 2 AM. Wanted to work on thread and will be plugging along with it - started earlier - and post ASAP.. I played on phone/data on Facebook last night and played Word for Friends and chatted with my son. Sipped red wine and had Lucy out many times. VERY WINDY, HEAVY RAIN but mild. Can’t wait to see the damage at my home. /S
yesterday posted my son’s two packages w/UPS. They had no senior discount but had a 5% AAA discount. My total was about 52$. Had asked my brother to drop them off at a stop on his route back to SC (just where my son delivers pizza) right off the Interstate In northern NC but he was not willing to do this. probably a 15 minute effort…Sigh. Just another frustration with my only sibling.

Looking at pictures from past years we usually have a nice snow storm. Guess we got the torrid rains instead this year. Would actually prefer to be snowed in Oh well still have a couple of months for the snow. Temp has droppped from 60s to low forties and will continue the drop today!

A very good way to start a new year.....
Digging out from a very nice snowstorm and wonder of wonders the plow just went through, usually we don’t see one this early.
Hubby has about 1/2 of drive way snow blowed, is in warming up for a bit now.

I have eyes peas soaking so we will have good luck this year. Certainly hope it is better than last year! I woke up with my arms feeling good so I just have to keep them this way.

Stopped raining here thankfully. Grey and gloomy. Happy New Years all. Son came over and we all celebrated by playing a game...Mexican Train Dominos. He said it’s probably not politically correct. Lol. Very fun game.
