Has there been any discussion or consensus about the possibility those envelopes handed out were subpoenas?

we know a lot about the American Thinker, they've been on line for more than a decade. They are hardly a liberal or never-Trump oriented publication.
It's a weakness to be unable to accept opinions, even from allies, that do not align exactly with those you already hold, isn't it? Don't you give the benefit of the doubt to long-time Trump supporting opinion outlets?

I tend to take Trump at face value: so, for instance, when Trump was tweeting out his frustration with Jeff Sessions I took it as "Trump is frustrated with Jeff Sessions".
People who see Trump as Superman had all sorts of esoteric explanations for Trump's tweets: "Trump and Sessions are playing a game, this is all acting to throw off the opposiiton, Sessions is a secret White Hat" etc, etc.
Then Trump fired Sessions. So it's pretty clear that the obvious Trump frustration was, actually, frustration. And Sessions was hopeless.
That doesn't make Trump powerless. He could tell his new AG to appoint a Special Prosecutor to get to the bottom of the Deep State Coup.
I think the article is summing up the state of things as (those of us relying on consensus reality) see them, and pointing towards possible next steps.
Of course Q believers have esoteric knowledge which informs their views. Time will tell if it's given you better insights into reality.
