I have my issues with the song, but not for its content. My issue with the song is why the heck do they often play it during the Christmas season? It doesn’t even talk about Christmas in any way. Couldn’t they play it in January or, heck, even February since it was apparently supposed to be a more romantic song?
That’s pretty much my issue with the song. I really don’t see much else about the song to complain about, especially not trying to get it banned.
Well, not any more. Haven’t heard “Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves” in a looong time either.
Though I suppose a lot these songs are just a YouTube video away.
I think “You’re A Mean One, Mister Grinch” would be a whole lot more fun if there were a pause near the end of the song where people made up their own goofy verse about The Grinch.
