The two parties choose their own committee members. Schumer and the ‘Rats are quite free to keep the vile Kamala Harris on the Senate Judiciary Committee. If they have one slot fewer they can tell one of their ***white*** Senators that the SJC is no longer an option.

The majority party in each branch of Congress controls a lot of things in the committees, but each minority leader has freedom to select their own committee members. There are party rules and traditions about it (seniority weighing most heavily) but nothing binding. Schumer is free to say that KH will be on the SJC, period. The ‘Rats are trying to use MSM pressure to push McConnell to help them with their own problem. Mitch needs to tell them to #### off.
