Why were many of these future stars sons and daughters of the military/intelligence complex and extreme privilege who just happened to all arrive in LA at the same time? From the Lizard King Jim Morrison to Frank Zappa, the Mamas and Papas, the Byrds, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, even the Monkees, they all had conspicuous family heritages that did not exactly jive with what would become the free love, anti war soundtrack of a generation...

...How and why did this all happen?

They rebelled against their parents, with a little help from peer pressure and the Soviet agents initiating and promoting the anti-war movement.

They also gave us, "women's lib" "black power" "queer rights" "God is dead" and a whole host of other "identity politics" programs, designed to divide and conquer our fairly cohesive American society...it worked.

They also took over "education", "the media" many churches, and the entertainment industry.

We may have bankrupted the Soviet Union by forcing them to overspend on their military budget (Star Wars) but they definitely won the Cold War.

True. Just hard to be patient. I am thinking that on the Acosta news that Acosta/CNN are probably going to wish they hadn’t won this little skirmish. I doubt they are going to like the “rules”. In fact, I see it as probably win for POTUS and staff.

Senate composition.

GOP started with 51.....then lost AZ and Nevada GOP making it 49

Then GOP won Indiana, Missouri and North Dakota which were Dem seats to get the total back to 52.

Florida is currently a Dem seat and Rick Scott win brings it to 53.

All of this is subject to Mississippi electing the republican candidate in the runoff. Little doubt there, so all eyes remain on Florida to confirm 53.
