Well, people DID dress up in black-face if they were playing a character. She didn’t say it was great. She didn’t say she approved of it. She didn’t even say she DID it. She just related a fact.

A white friend of mine on Halloween in 1986 dressed up as Mookie Wilson. Nobody complained.

More recently, Al Roker dressed up as Doc Brown, the crazy white guy from Back to the Future. Sure he didn't use white face, but he put on a straight-haired white guy wig.

What reasonable person cares about any of this.

I think she also thought the #MeToo stuff would protect her.

Her life won’t be roses. Her ambition is huge and she has to live with this failure and walking away from a FoxNews offer of $100 million. Who would hire her now?

The only reason they hired her.

I guess we’ll find her and Clayton Kershaw cooking meth in a trailer in Eastern Kentucky when the money runs out.

” Hours earlier, the Today show co-hosts condemned her remarks, with Roker being one of her harshest critics.
On Wednesday, Halloween, the group appeared on the air in ‘80s-inspired costumes. Rocker dressed up as Back to the Future’s Doc Brown, played by white actor Christopher Lloyd in the 1985 film. Some people commented online that Roker’s choice of costume—and the Today show’s celebration of it—made him a hypocrite and constituted a double standard.”

No kidding. That behavior is quite vindictive. While I lost a lot of respect for Megyn Kelly after the attack on Trump NBC is doing all they can to create sympathy for her.

Personally, I hope she is able to exit while taking as many millions as she is able to from them.

I once gave two weeks notice to an employer who immediately came to the store, took the keys, informed me that an inventory was going to be done and that I should stay and “help” (unpaid) and that they wanted my permission to search my car and home for merchandise and, if they found any, I would have to produce a receipt showing that I purchased it.

I told them they could shove it up their...

Happened to both of my daughters-——met at the door in the AM,taken to their desks to retrieve personal items, and escorted out the door.

No big deal.

The children at NBC, acting like the children that they are.

I agree with you. They should have been polite to her on her way out. They also should not have pretended she was fired over an innocuous remark, not when we all know she was fired over ratings.
