This weather makes me sleepy.
At one point Trump said he would come out to CA to help John Cox. It would be great if he would go to Omar’s district at the same time. I really think Trump could help both as many Californians are sick of what is going on here & sick of how much worse it could get with Newsome
I haven’t heard Trump mention it lately, so he must think it is a lost cause. Even if he did come out, it would probably be to Orange County, which would be great for me, but wouldn’t do much for Omar.
I’ll say it again, I think Trump could really broaden his base by taking it right into Dim districts. I think he has a lot of hidden support that could be tapped.

I did meet up w/HS BF for lunch. He said I looked great..(and as I look in mirror I do NOT look like as bad as I feel. Maybe I should just forget the makeup? LOL)
was to wiped out to go to laundromat. tomorrow hopefully. went to park & let lucy on long lead and I slept in van for a few hours. Did some organization of our “home”. has been a disaster.
Came to fitness center to do ping. Lucky found a parking space near building to pick up wifi but it was packed. folk working out but also some type of rah/rah meetings they are having a GRAND reopening weekend with new renovations I use the fitness center solely for bath/lav usage. At this point not interested in any workouts I have always preferred outdoors. Hiking, biking, kayaking etc.

a few comments.
1) I think that if the mob from Honduras reaches the border a very VERY strong deterrent statement needs to be made. This may involve many dead criminals trying to breach the borders. This will help prevent future assaults to the border. And this current episode is only strengthening the border arguments for the wall.. sooner rather than later
2) Cruz. I think his visit with Rally will be powerful. He will have humor as far as the past “name calling” and put it in perspective He will come out as a strong supporter of Cruz.. but saying for Senator - not president
3) The natural tragedies of weather have had their toll on our country. I admire the way POTUS steps up to address these things.

Oh, yeah. We went to a book fair at her school last week, and she wanted to buy a cookbook for her mom. The next day they had over 50 stickers on recipes she wants to try. Her mom cooks (sometimes), but like me, doesn’t bake much, except I do like to bake bread or rolls occasionally. Unless it’s a big secret, send me your recipe, and I’ll bake it with her.
I love chocolate covered strawberries, and I had her help me make them once, and she had fun. But it’s hard to not cut production on those by eating them while your making them. LOL, that was the best breakfast my grandson and I had one time.
Happily will be watching!

I was young when my grandmother died Only memory was making cookie and noodles. Still have the rolling pin we used. It had been a gift from her grandfather on her tenth birthday. Both of his grandfathers fought in the Revolutionary war. (Have a picture of her grandparents and aunts and uncles on wall. Sarah Trump was one of the aunts)
Family time is important.

I always wanted to help out in the kitchen but my mom couldn’t stand how long it took to teach or the mess.
My grandmother taught me so much when I would stay with her.
