Kitten is trying to blend in to the carpet.
Good morning. It’s cold here.
I drove to Walmart in the cold rain. There was very little oncoming traffic so I didn’t notice my windshield was fogged over until I topped the last hill, and then I had to open my window, even with the defroster going full tilt. I’ve got to get that fixed before I kill myself or someone else!
Not a molten lava cake mix in sight, either, so it must have been a flash in the pan. So I’ll see what I can find online. I just barely had enough to get the little bit of stuff I got, too, so that was a strange thing. I’ve gotten so used to it that it bothers the people in line behind me more than it does me. Ha-ha!
Or you could just try basic cupcakes, instead.
I checked online and most of the recipes I found used ramekins. And most were also complicated with too many ingredients and far too many steps. It appears the easiest recipe uses chocolate chip or candy-making wafers, so a box of brownie mix is what I’ll use and just get a bag of chocolate chips to be put in the center when the cup is half full.
If they want the full Monty on the chocolate, I can heat up some chocolate fudge to pour over it all and squeeze some Reddi-Whip on top!
Sounds magnificent!
Doesn’t it, though? I’m still waiting for word from the newlyweds, but hopefully, they won’t be too rude about it. His dad taught him manners, but his mom may have undone a lot. (Shame on me for speculating!)
It would be nice if people replied ...
Especially when given a specific date and time.
Had it backwards: d=atan(d)/d
Thank you for yet another beautiful creature!
I resorted to bribery. I asked if I could bribe her husband with the lava cakes, hot fudge and whipped cream and she said they would be here, so I’m good!
It will be fun to see his face when he comes in!
Young people just hate to commit to appointments. I’m sure they’ll have a nice time, once they get there.
Yes, I’m sure they will. It will be the first time I’ve been with them without other family members since they got married. I suspect it will be a good visit.
I’m looking forward to it, anyway.
Just keep everyone talking about the nice things that are going on their lives.
Somehow, I don’t think I’ll have a problem with either one of them. They were so astounded my the luncheon cloth I gave them, that I’m sure it will come up in the conversation. I may even be talked into doing something else for them. Who knows?
Anyway, I’m off to lie down. I’m feeling a little on the tired side. OK. A LOT on the tired side. Maybe it has to do with the weather...
Anyway, I’ll see all y’all tomorry. ;o]
I hope you have a good night and get better weather soon. It’s sunny and 50s here, or so. I have two meetings tonight.
Good morning. For some reason, my “chosen” time for watching the dreams has become an unspoken invitation for peeps to start texting me. Last night, it was 1935 before I could put down the Kindle and let my eyelids slam shut after the last text. Two and a half hours after I shut the light off...
Today, I’m going to try and take a load of things to the Deseret Industries collection “pod” before they move it to another stake center. I just can’t keep tripping over this stuff and I want to get the rug down. It will make all the difference in the world in this room.
Keeping busy is going to be the thing that helps me stay awake today. If I stop, I’ll sleep! LOL!
MUTE!
If the end of the world comes while you’re asleep, and you don’t get the text, will it make any difference. If you get up in the morning and there are texts, you answer, “I was asleep. Hope things are fine now!”
Be careful with moving things.
The rain is in the forecast for today and tomorrow, but not for Saturday. Good news for the grandkids! I don’t mind the rain because we need it. We always seem to need the rain, so its good. I have a hard time with the overcast, though, due to SAD. Which is why I live in the Desert Southwest. Sunshine!
It was family members. Ones I love a lot and don’t hear from on a regular basis. But it seems they have to text me on the same night, within seconds of each other!
I’ll survive, I guess. It’s just that by the time I do the things that have to be done before I get to lie down and let the pills work, it’s 1700, even if I say I’m going to bed at 1300. So that two and a half hours makes a big difference in how soundly I sleep. In cases like this, the fatigue is intensified but so are the stresses of the day.
