Last night I was so up past my bedtime, I felt I was a zombie. But when siblings need input, you do what you can, no matter how long it takes. And I did.
Today, if the Sun Gods are kind and warm up the BB SUV a bit, I’ll head out to the post office and take pics of the new snow on the mountains.
Tomorrow, the Beaker goes to the vet again, and I have no idea how much it will cost. I just know I have to do whatever is necessary for the poor little thing.

Good morning. In a few minutes, I’m going to sort out the things I want to put on the walls in the bedroom. I’m missing the Incan calendar. Or Aztec. But on this move, things have been disappeared and then found, so I’ll keep hoping I run across it. It’s another one of those things that I’ve had forever.
Earlier, I was looking at a snow map for Utah, and it would appear we’re to get more rain and/or snow today. From the looks of it, the worst will fall to the north of us. Of course.
Good morning. DP has turned up, as well as the cats. There’s talk of rain here, but it’s not raining now. Tom the Mocker is barking and shrieking out back on the feeder.
The Muppet Birds are awake and singing their little morning songs to each other. Some of the songs are whispered, so they may be plotting an escape!
I’ve been trying to sort the wall hanging things into where I actually want them, but since my neighbor sleeps a lot, I’ll have to wait until later in the day to actually hang them. So in a bit, I’ll walk over to the clubhouse/laundry room/office and drop off some mail, then get what’s been sitting in my mailbox since sometime yesterday. It wasn’t here by noon, so I didn’t go back.
The mockingbirds were beginning to gather again in Henderson when I left, and I really hope they didn’t follow me up here. It may be too cold for them here, I hope.

Good morning, ArGee. I took Elen over to the Marines office, where she and other young Marines have to hang out this week until they can leave for their MOS training. Maybe they can play cards or something.
There was discussion of a trip to Asheville today, but Anoreth is poorly, and it’s supposed to be pouring rain there. Now DP is talking about taking the byos to see the Spider-Man movie.
Elen will likely not enjoy casual status. When I was on casual status, post-flight training but pre-Omaha, I managed to get a gig typing up a backlog of entry physicals to be sent to HQ for storage. I probably wasn’t supposed to see the private information, but the stack was almost 3 feet tall and I could type. There was a short break in there to search for a canopy that a student had to blow because he had smoke in the cockpit. Both were better than sitting around all day.
My co-worker said the spiderverse movie is 5 of 5 stars. I don’t think I’ll bother. I’m somewhat OK with CGI (although it’s highly abused these days) but I’m not interested in fully animated superhero movies.
How to Train Your Dragon 3, on the other hand, is on my list for when it comes out on DVD.
Hoo-boy. Some days, it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed. Some time yesterday, I got a call from United Health Care, but it was too late in the day for me to make any sense, so I figured I’d call this morning, but after I went to get a small case of water.
Sure. I did, and I got a CSR who had mush in his mouth. I gave him my name and he asked if I had insurance with UHC, and I said, no, I had gotten a phone call yesterday asking me to call and set it up, and so I was looking for a medical plan.
“A what?” A medical plan and I spelled medical so he couldn’t misunderstand it. Then he asked me for my member number. I told him I don’t have one and that’s the reason I called so I could get all the medical things in place. He asked me “Whut?”
I thanked him for his time and hung up.
Can someone please tell me that this is not an epidemic of the Terminal Stupids?
If you’ve rated the “How to Train Your Dragon 3” movie, then I will be looking for it on DVD. Have you seen the other two, as well? If so, how do you rate them?
I did a search on eBay this morning for the serieses (is that a word?) I can’t get here, so when I have some money, I’ll find the least expensive sets and buy them. Right now, the TV in the bedroom isn’t hooked up, but I can plug that and the little DVD player that Charlie gave me a couple of years ago, and watch movies to my heart’s content. There is a player out here, as well, but I seem to get too distracted with other things, like unpacking.

I stream a lot of movies these days. If you can get the right cable between your PC and your TV it’s quite handy and relatively inexpensive. If I don’t do that I go to Redbox.
In the meantime, I’ve only rated the HTTYD 3 preview as I don’t think it’s out in theaters, yet. But the preview is a solid “fun looking movie.” Of course, Incredibles 2 looked good in previews, too, and I was very disappointed.
I rated HTTYD 1 5 of 5 stars. Number 2 was probably 3.5 of 5.
