Bronze is amazing stuff. It can sit in a mud puddle for thousands of years and be as good as the day it was cast. Steel can turn into rust overnight.

Are those helmuts similiar to greek helmuts at the time of troy? or later. seems to me I’ve seen ones like them before. just can’t place them.

People who don’t know how to position, light, and frame a subject shouldn’t be taking photos.

Pretty sophisticated for armor over 3000 years old!

Once visited the museum which covers the burial tomb of Phillip II of Macedonia, Alexander's father, at Vergina in northern Greece. When dug up his armor was almost entirely intact. Including the greaves, one longer than the other (he reputedly had one leg longer and walked with a limp). There are so many amazing discoveries yet to be made that will largely confirm what a lot of PhD dissertations have called "myth".

Theres nothing wrong with the pictures. From a photographers' perspective everything is wrong with the photo including lighting, positioning, and framing.
This is what proper lighting, positioning, and framing look like:

Theres nothing wrong with the pictures. The article is about a bronze age helmet. Not a poorly lit photo of a man holding a bronze age helmet. Yes there are things wrong with the picture.

I read somewhere that Phillip had only one good everything.
One eye, one good leg, one good arm etc. All due to combat.
