And in case you missed Jon Voight's recent interview with Mark Levin:
Jon Voight interview with Mark Levin September 9, 2018

Voight has great clarity and wisdom.

I had the privilege to see him (Sheriff Clarke, et. al.) speak in Aurora, CO right before our President won in November 2016. I even got a pic of him and my mom after the event. Very gracious, funny man. (And my mom keeps the pic on her dresser.)

Nice story. I knew nothing about Elmer Voight until just now.
I’d always assumed that Jon was a first generation Swedish or Norweigian, and his immediate family chose to keep a low profile. So one of Jon’s brother’s wrote “Wild Thang”? Wow.

My guess is Angelina J. does not acknowledge this side of the family at all. She seems to thrive on her feuds. Angelina only just resumed speaking to her dad a few years ago after decades of pretending he wasn’t there.

The two younger sons imitated their father’s swing and became very good players. They were the captains of their golf teams at their Catholic high school. They played alongside a burly, crew-cutted young phenom from Columbus. They weren’t that good.

...

I hope this doesn’t ruin the story, but Nicklaus was thin in high school.

In the Levin interview Jon Voight mentions an actress, a fellow Hollywood conservative, but he doesn't mention her name. Any guesses to whom he was referring?

Hmmm? Not sure. Maybe next to them he was burly? I did find this high school pic of him, though. Looks fairly beefy:

A lot I didn’t know either. I think I was vaguely familiar with his dad being a golfer and one of his brothers a geologist.

Didn’t know about the Wild Thing song.

Let’s put it this way. He didn’t become fat Jack until he was in college.

“I knew nothing about Elmer Voight until just now.”

This Saturday night, Fox News should show the re-run of last Saturday’s, “Life, Liberty and Levin”. Jon Voight was Levin’s guest for the whole hour. The segment when Jon spoke of his father was, to me, the best part of the show. Very touching. I think the interview can be seen on Youtube, too. Not sure.

“Any guesses to whom he was referring?”

I wondered, too. Maybe Patricia Heaton? The ghost of Dixie Carter? Have heard that Heather Locklear and Shannen Doherty are conservatives, but I wouldn’t call either one a “good actress”, as Jon said.

I posted a link to the Levin interview with Voight in the first post. That’s what inspired me to find out more. :)
