Odd little side note regarding Trump’s comments at a Prison Reform Roundtable. POTUS begins by saying:

“THE PRESIDENT: Well, thank you very much, everybody, for being here in Bedminster. We’ve had a lot of work. We’ve done a lot of work. They’re renovating the White House. It’s a long-term project, and they approved it years ago. And I said, well, I guess this would be a good place to be in the meantime. So they’re doing a lot of work at the White House. I miss it. I would like to be there. But this is a good way of doing it.”

I heard +/- saw references to (more) work being done on the WH while he was there and I immediately remembered when Trump did that before. What's interesting now reading this (thx!) is that it's ok to introduce folks there like that ala sorry we're not at WH, but there are extra things thrown in that reinforce the work on the WH is more than just annual remodeling.
