That was for Stand up to Cancer. The signs said “I stand up for ______________.” MLB does this at big games.
I liked Judge when the soldier returned. He was on deck, waiting to face Scherzer. he put his bat down, applauded, then when everything was finished, he picked up his bat and stepped into the box.

The proceeds used to go to the players’ pension fund. (I don’t think that includes the hot dog I ate and the two Cokes I drank.)

Hardcore baseball fan, play fantasy baseball, I use the All Star break to give myself a few days off from the regular grind.
Haven’t watched any of it, back to business on Friday.
Appreciate the patriotism of MLB

I remember this one from a few years ago with Ron Darling holding up the card for Gary Carter, one of my all-time favorite players. I shed a tear or two, when I heard he passed.

The one thing I have not yet found out is who that was that knocked Teddy over in the Presidents’ Race. I know Screech was hosting a lot of other mascots, so I think it was likely one of them.

Astros Bregman and Springer hit back to back homers, in the 10th. Something that hasn’t been done since the 70’s.
Theyre the 2nd set of teammates with back-to-back HR in the All-Star Game (Dodgers teammates Steve Garvey and Jimmy Wynn did it in the 1975 All-Star Game).
