I agree to a point about testing willingness to believe.
The way this R person is trying to sell it is not how it would be done however. More than anything it was done to distract/disrupt the thread.

Check out the video of the Minnesota rally. He def made a Q sign. Big circle then a slash. The Demos video shows a Q sign in the audience (not t-shirt guy) in The Donald's field of vision just as he made the Q gesture.
Also remember the old video of The Donald with all the military guys making the Q hand gesture and talking about some mysterious thing that was coming.
