According to Ballotpedia, the 2018 CO senate battleground races that are held in Dem districts are 3, 5, 11, 20, 22. The battleground ones held by Rs are senate districts 16 and 24. There are 17 state senate seats up for elections, which 10 are Rs and 6 are Dems plus 1 held by an Independent Cheri Jahns’ District 20.
The website defines a battleground districts as,
“To determine state legislative battleground races in 2018, Ballotpedia looked for races that fit one or more of the four factors listed below:
1.If the incumbent won less than 55 percent of the vote in the most recent election prior to 2018
2.If the presidential candidate opposite of the incumbent’s party won the district in the 2016 elections and the incumbents margin of victory in the previous election was 10 percentage points or less
3.If the presidential candidate opposite of the incumbent’s party won the district in the 2016 elections and the incumbent did not file to run for re-election
4.If the presidential candidate opposite of the incumbent’s party won the district in the 2016 elections by 20 points or more
Other factors can also cause a race to be classified as a battleground. For example, Ballotpedia may consider an election to be a battleground race if an outside group or a national or state party announces that they are targeting a specific seat in order to flip it. We may also determine a race to be a battleground if it receives an unusual amount of media attention. Two additional factors are open seats and districts impacted by redistricting. “

I’m leaning Vic, he’s not a polished politician and seems to be softening on Trump. But wife like Walker and the Hispanic guy (can’t remember his name). That little dem weasel is running adds to end TABOR, we cannot let that happen.
Jahn is an "independent" dem.
Thanks for that post.
“Walker is a solid Conservative and as the current State Treasurer, knows the budget inside and out.
He can beat the expected Dem candidate (Polis) in a debate and is the only one close to having the financial backing to beat Polis in November.”
That’s what I’m thinking too. Has momentum and a better chance of putting a Republican back in there. A very small chance, but a chance. Colorado has gone so far left, I’m not sure it can be saved.
NO! But I would like to change initiatives to require 2/3 to amend the constitution.
Thanks George76. So, what do you think?
I would like to change the law so that TABOR opponents have to pay until bankrupt before the rest of us pay anything at all (with the Put Up or Shut Up Law). That will make them pucker up and rethink.
Please add me to your Colorado ping list. Thanks!
“I am in the middle of nowhere CO.”
It’s nice, isn’t it.
There seems to be many Dems running against Trump during their little primaries. Like that one Dem guy who is running for AG who wakes up at night writing notes to himself about how-to-stop Donald Trump. Haha. And there’s that Dem Kennedy for Gov who goes on drives to get away from Trump tweets! Goofy. She’s now accusing Jared Polis over supporting those “evil” and “anti-teacher” schkoooool vouchers that Polis with his counter ad denies featuring his teachers. LoL.
Yep {:0)
Yes, and loser pays tort while we’re at it.
Bingo, that too!. And some more I am thinking of a PC way to say.
You are added. Thanks.
Walker Stapleton has the best chance of winning in November ?
Who do you like for Treasurer?
Are you close to any cell towers, I don’t get any TV channels and few radio stations but I use my phone as a radio now, wish I could stream local channels.
I need to look at that some more.

Good analysis.
I am voting for Walker.
You’re comment firmed it up for me.
I’m voting for Stapleton.
I wish the Republicans would narrow it down to two on the primary ballot.
