Wow. I read once the special accommodations Andre the Giant had to use when flying.

I think they had to remove some seats.

There have been fairly frequent articles about urine soaked seats on airplanes. Sure glad I no longeruse them to fly anywhere. If I can’t reach the destination by car, I don’t make the trip.

I’m the same. Usually when they start early boarding on Southwest, I’m heading to the bathroom.

I also eat a quick meal just before a flight just in case of a delay, especially long distance.

All the major airplane factories (Boeing, Airbus, MD, etc.) provide standard design for major components like wings, bodies and engines but allow a wide range of customization for interiors.

This is why you can board exactly the same airline model on American, United, etc. and it will feel like a cattle car or you can fly an airline like Singapore, Cathy Pacific, JAL, etc. and it will feel like you took a time machine back to 1980s style luxury.

Remember, as a result of bankruptcy AA was taken over by USAIR, which merged the 2 airlines (deceptively) keeping the AA name. It’s been a slow steady fall into the abyss ever since.

Even though I’ve got lifetime Gold status on AA with various perks, I’ve found Delta has a much better product with United slightly better. Of particular note are the generally surly AA flight attendants.

It can be tough because the re-circulated air also seems to breed dehydration.

The offsite parking company I use offers a cooler with chilled water bottles upon exit.

Pretty soon, they’ll just nix the bathrooms altogether and integrate them into the tiny seats that are taking over airplanes.
