Your stadium tickets and cable tv costs will rise to pay for this and the ungrateful players salaries.

OH CRAP!! That means Jerry Jones is already looking to build another, larger, more expensive Jerry World! UGH!

SBJ said the most expensive stadium previous to this was MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and that cost $1.7 billion. And it galls me to no end that AT&T Stadium cost half of that amount and is twice as nice. Goes to show ya what the cost of cement and protection will run ya in East Rutherford.

Its all monkey see monkey do
Plus stadiums create a ton of opportunity for graft and backdoor deals
They are like public schools for the locally corrupt
Big pile of money to go towards “consultants” do nothing jobs and materials that never get delivered.

Its takes a lot of time and money to find more Hoffas to support the foundation....

"$4 Billion sports arena - So what! LA / CAs Titanic economy is So strong that even the almighty could not sink it."
That's $10 million a game over 40 years, although I assume they'll also have other events like concerts and motocross. But I don't know if the $4 billion includes interest, and of course there is ongoing maintenance. It goes to show how much money there is in the NFL, to be able to support those costs.

Just think of how many third world illegals will flock to the new stadium to watch Bull Fighting and pay big bucks when there are no soccer games.

Right on. They can boo the USA when Mexico plays the USA in soccer/futbol.

Are people going to have to buy tickets to go in and use the stadium? That would require strong borders.
Or are they going to use the Starbucks approach and let anyone in that needs to use the bathroom?

True that. And if the NFL declines in popularity, and/or they reach the end point of what the market will bear with seat licenses and ticket prices, then what??
How the heck is a $2 billion plus loan ever going to be paid back from stadium revenues??? Did this plan ever pencil out?
Maybe if the NFL tanks, they will fill the revenue gap with Monster Truck Shows.
What's ironic is that I'm not even sure L. A. wanted an NFL team. Now they are stuck with two of them.

I’m laughing, but I probably should be crying after reading your reply:

Well, at least it will be a nice venue for the 2028 Olympics... It will probably be a Soccer Stadium by them anyway. For all intents and purposes it's the home stadium for the Mexican National Soccer team. They play more "home" matches in the US than in Mexico.

Fortunately, the voters in Oakland turned a similar proposed stadium another financial fiasco.

Are they crazy? The NFL left LA for a reason, and they forced their way back in, and now the taxpayers are paying
$4 BILLION (!!!) for a stadium they don't need?
I know the Coliseum is old, and so is the Rose Bowl, but is there something wrong with them?

Good point about LA. The Rams attendance is often lower than for USC or UCLA football. And the chargers have had trouble selling out their temporary home in a 27,000 seat soccer stadium.
This stadium seems like a huge gamble, if nobody in LA cares that they now have 2 NFL teams.
I haven’t checked out ticket prices or sest license costs in the new stadium. I’m sure they are big dollars.
To: Dilbert San Diego
They might sell out when the “Las Vegas” Raiders come to play. After all, the Raiders are STILL the most popular NFL team in LA.

If the stadium lasts 30 years then without calculating interest the cost of the stadium for each game played in it would be about $20 million dollars per game. If it held 50,000 people the cost of each seat would be $400 per ticket and that would not include the money to pay the teams or the players.
