I know a couple that visited mexico almost had their 6 year old son kidnapped by mexicans

Back in the '90s we took a cruise and stopped off at Ocho Rios in Jamaica. One quick tour down the pier to a liquor store told me all we wanted to know. We high-tailed it back to the ship. Later on we talked with a family who went into town. They told how some guys surrounded them and tried to isolate their 13-year-old daughter. The husband started swinging his fists and got the kid back. They didn't go ashore there again.
