Recently I was pondering how sexual reproduction between two sexes is a beautiful evidence of creation. Look at all of the difficulties involved in sexual reproduction but also look at all of the amazing aspects of the two genders. Simple life forms just reproduce all by themselves but only the very simplest life forms.
Ever see the movie "Enemy Mine". That method would be much more survivable. Clearly God has created 2 genders for His purpose and He has given them very strong instincts to reproduce.
I was really interested in the tiny little monogonont rotifer. The little male only consists of 1000 cells and is barely bigger than a protozoa but he mostly reproductive organs. The female doesn't even have a vagina but he manages to nail her anyway. There is a cute little youtube video of said effort.
I actually did, but it was so long ago that I don't remember anything. I will look up the microinvertebrate.
The two combatants became friends. Then the alien changed into a female and became pregnant spontaneously.
Shows how much attention I was paying ...
Yep
When I was a boy and raised in a contracting company family, one of my dads competitors and pal had just bought an MU-2 Solitaire which anyone on this thread knows requires a deft touch to fly safely with those stubby wings....its a nimble sensitive bird
He like my dad was a multi engine pilot too and anyhow shortly after buying it he crashed it on take off and his partner and his well known beautiful young secretary all perished just off the end of the runway....clipped off the wings in the tall pines and the fuselage continued on at high speed ...the crash scene showed her nearly buck naked even though shed been in jeans and sweater as well as the other male sans clothing as well as booze in the pilot blood report
And that oddly enough is not the only time Ive known pretty women on board and hormones contributing to a crash
My friend I mentioned upthread who crashed was smoking weed ...I know he was ....he asked me to fly once and was bringing weed....I declined....being from a plane owning family and having flown some myself I knew better
Dont fly high or especially on booze
However I know from first hand experience Ive seen carrier pilots fly back for deck landings from a party town after some drinking.....I wouldnt have believed it if I hadnt seen it
How shallow can ones life be when the have Instagram stars? to bad she died.
No, she was in a car crash, central america I think. You're thinking of Aaliyah, who was killed in a cessna 402 crash at Abaco. CG too far aft crash, I recall.
Even in a glider on tow it's not usually a good idea. I've seen folks think they can make it back after a towline break at 300' and end up smashing $100k worth of glass digging a wingtip or stalling in the turn. I had a towplane engine fail while on tow about 30' into the takeoff. I think we had a mutual "duh" moment when I saw her prop stop,i beat her to the tow release tho. We had enough runway to land straight ahead had to jam the spoilers wide open to lose enough energy so I didn't fly right over the towplane. i probably could have made a 90 turn, but not 180.
Wow.
Yes
Agree, the only times I've gone up in one was wearing a parachute.
Yep.
It happened across the street from the airport at the end of the runway. It looks like it barely got off the ground before it crashed.
