I’ve heard that Antarctica is technically a desert, as it gets very little precipitation. While weather is extremely cold, they don’t get too many snowstorms.

I’ve heard that Antarctica is technically a desert, as it gets very little precipitation. Antarctica is a huge continent. It has some areas that are effectively deserts. The Dry Valleys certainly are. Others get significant snowfall.
