Why is he on Death Row? How did he kill his victims? I suspect it was merciful and did not hurt? Perhaps he should be killed in a matching way.

I’m perplexed by this. A few month’s back we had to put down one of our old pooches via lethal injection. This is probably the 5th or 6th event like this in our family - with zero incidences of “failure”.

Anyone know the failure rate of euthanizing pets/animals?

As I've said many times. The only reason this kind of crap still comes up is because neither those for or against capital punishment want it to go away. We know how to execute people in a quick and painless way. Simply build an air-tight room with a gurney in the middle. Strap the condemned into the gurney. Pump in pure Nitrogen and maintain a 99% nitrogen atmosphere for 20 minutes. After that 20 minutes is up vent the room in the air to the outside of the building, while pumping in normal air. Cart the corpse off, that probably doesn't even realize it died ten minutes prior.

This is not rocket science.

It requires no poisons, special drugs, or anything like that. Bottles of nitrogen are available as industrial lots.

Again, the only reason there are issues with methods of execution is because someone wants there to be issues.

As I understand it, Ohio has had to deal with this issue, and have developed a protocol where they prisoner is injected, intra-muscularly (in the butt), an overdose of versed and dilaudid. No veins needed. But, I’d also be in favor of the firing squad, quick, relatively painless, and cheap.
