Pay them off and then claim that they are lying. AKA the Bill O’Reilly Defense.
How many of them sued and got a five or six-figure payout at government expense?
Present company excepted of course.
If the House Ethics Committee found there was no reason to think he did it, and the House Employment Counsel thought there was enough evidence he did it to justify an $84,000 settlement then I'd say one of the two organizations is not doing their job.
This is all just tabloid window dressing to hide the coup attempt by the DC oligarchs.
