I had a great uncle who tried breeding four-legged chickens, thinking he could make a fortune selling them to KFC.
But they were so fast no one could catch them.
So he outsmarted himself and his dream died.
im on a low carb, high fat diet and while its working wonders for me, i do miss bread. ill try it!
The elites already eat bugs if my food magazines and Chopped are anything to go by. It’s hip, it’s cool and it’s nutritious! Well, that’s what they say. I do believe it is nutritious.
A lot of diet things ( for losing weight) have chitin in them and it just goes on through. I'm not sure it would cause too much harm if it were ground small enough. But if you eat whole grasshoppers and the legs get tangled up in your intestines, well, that's a different story.
Bottom line: Do not eat bugs, insects, larvae, or for that matter slugs, mollusks, and I don't eat insects of the sea either.... crab, lobster etc.
The military survival training says you can eat soft insects that are green. They are most like plants and have little chitin.

Eat Jimminy Cricket...NO WAY!!!
Long ago and far away while under the influence of a lot of saki I ate a cricket soaked in plum sauce. Not my finest appetizer. :-)

I enjoyed an excellent seafood risotto last night at Lago in Las Vegas. I can’t imagine introducing bugs into such a fine meal.
