Demons and fire. Sort of go together like horse and carriage, love and marriage, white and rice.

...Ed, I’m not your average everyday fool. Now I want my blue sports wagon and if you can’t get it I’m gonna take my business elsewhere! Where’s my old car?

There’s a reason those high HP Dodges have a lot of extra cooling ducts and plumbing added.
I’ll stick with my 370 HP Pontiac, thank you very much - no supercharger needed. :)

Was the name of the car Christine by some chance?

I have a Mustang GT and I wouldn’t trade it for a ship load of Demons.

I bought a 1986 GT with cash from commissions selling payphones way back when. Still miss that car.

Hehe, nah, just a G8. Wanted to buy a GTO, but they stopped bringing them in shortly before it was time for my once every 4 or so years car purchase.

Well, assuredly the G8 handles better than those old Goats. Hell, my plain-Jane Impala handles better than they did, and not by a little (I’ve had both, believe me).
But, still, I do miss the raw power of those old beauties...and you could actually tell which company made which car back then (and you didn’t need a separate bathroom for transformers).
F$%^, I’m beginning to sound like an old geezer bemoaning the passing of “the good old days.”

I bought my friend’s ‘88 GT when it was little more than a year old, when he got himself based in Germany. Damn, that was a FINE vehicle...except that it couldn’t handle for $hit in the snow without 300 pounds of sandbags in the back, and only passably well with it.
I recently drove the Mustang with the Ecoboost 4-cylinder engine (310 HP) for about 2 weeks. Not as fast as today’s GT, not even close, but faster than ours and simply the best-handling car I’ve ever driven. No live rear axle helps a BUNCH. I REALLY tried to fishtail it, and never succeeded despite wearing away at least 5,000 miles of rubber in the attempt. :>)

FYI...
Reliable hauls all the Big 3's Prototypes around ( especially to western test areas ) and the trucks are spotless and the reputation is vaulted. Every once and I while I'll be at the right place at the right time and see them off-load something you've never seen before....
