Thanks, hadn’t ever heard that, it’s a lovely song. Never saw the film.
Ronstadt did a lot of backup singing on diff recordings in her day, e.g. Neil Young’s “Harvest” Album.

Ah well, no one listens to what she has to say in such matters anyway. She had to be dingy to be Brown’s main squeeze back in the day.
Great singer, though. Don’t care much for her standards and Mexican music era, but up to about 1978 she was great.
