Look, this is precisely the same as the old flag burning issue. And as that case should have made plain, the people burning the flags were irrelevant - you or I could buy a case of flags and secretly burn them in our back yard with no public consequence whatever - but the people televising the demonstration which are the issue. From the dead-tree Wall St. Journal:

So-callled “liberalism” is precisely the opposite of that. ESPN has as much right to promote “liberalism” as MSNBC does. And you or I can watch/listen, or we can decide that ESPN is not delivering "the culture of sports” - and go rearrange our sock drawers in preference.
