Here we are defending Israel and we get this idiot suing over a piece of bacon in her omelet. Move on lady. . .what a waste of time and taxpayer’s money.
The nearest is about 1500 miles away.
Dammit.
If you are that orthodox why in G_d’s name would one eat at Denny’s?
The judge should award her $1.
1-800-SUE-PIGS.
make your own omelet at home lady!
who’s to say any place to eat at doesn’t cook in pork grease or use the same flat top grill or utensils used on pork products?
Since when is “Montgomery” a Jewish name? Sounds 100% gentile to me...
someone serious about kashrut would hardly be eating at Denny’s where her vegetarian omelet would be prepared on a grill that had fried nonkosher meat, mixed meat and dairy, and goodness knows what else. just sayin’.....
Well, there's "Spam, eggs, sausage, and spam"; that's not got MUCH spam in it......
Problem solved. Your honor, the defense rests.
She was even offered a correction. She declined. Too disgusted.
So, this is why we have a legal system?
First, they have to prove that Denny's puts meat in any of their meals. It was probably made of soy or worse!
Sam’s restaurant still exists:
Sam, Sr. in pursuit of his dream, moved to Santa Barbara with his wife Ione and their 3 children in 1947. In time, Sam opened his FIRST cafe (early 50s), named Sammys Grill at 511 State Street in downtown Santa Barbara, a precursor of things to come! The Spirit of Sams vision continues to live in Santa Barbara. Celebrating our 60th year, serving customers from every corner of the globe, on the beach!
“Bohnett was on board. Now they just needed a name. Someone suggested a mashup: Sam- for Sam Battistone Sr. and bo for Newell Bohnett. And thats how Sambos was born. Still, according to Charles Bernstein, the author of Sambos: Only a Fraction of the Action, Battistone and Bohnett didnt choose the name solely for personal reasons. They chose it because they considered it an ideal brand with excellent promotional potential.”
“Not too long ago, Sambos had 1,117 locations in 47 statesand a reputation for pushing racist iconography along with its breakfasts.”
“But that pride would be severely tested by Sambos eastward expansion in the late 1970s. What had been shrugged off in, say, California, was greeted in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Ohio, and Michigan as an affront. Lawsuits were filed against the Sambos name; the NAACP got involved, too. In Rhode Island, the states Human Rights Commission decided that “the use of the name Sambos had the effect of notifying black persons that they were unwelcome at Sambo’s restaurants because of their race; the Urban League of Springfield, Massachusetts, insisted that the name carrie[d] racial overtones despite what Sambos says.”
“Its important to note that the Sambo now starring in those murals no longer looks like Bannermans Sambo. He has light skin, for one thing. His eyes are almost feminine: long lashes, an anime twinkle. He wears a turban with a gleaming red jewel in the middle. His shoes are curled at the toes.”
1117 locations out of business. Quite a feat.
The libtard author was unaware or deliberately deceptive in claiming that the “new” Sambo was anime inspired or “now starring”. They always had an Indian kid. not a black pickanninie.
Never understood what the uproar was about.
This was a great family restaurant, reasonably priced.
If she wanted to make absolutely sure that she would not be served pork, she should have eaten at a kosher restaurant. I have no pity on her.
Flash: Hindu sues McD’s for beef in patties
So a Jewish woman hires a Muzzie lawyer to defend her eating habits?
The world is getting strange!
“With such an over reaction I wonder if she planted the bacon herself”
Very likely. You can buy a bottle of bacon bits from Walmart for $2.34, stick it in your purse and sprinkle it on your omelet.
Shazamm! Instant lawsuit by a leftist commie pig.
Do people think that Denny’s has a separate Kosher Kitchen?
Even the Eggs used in a Vegetarian Omelet are cooked on the same Grill that Bacon and Ham are.
The Cooks don’t use pressurized steam to clean the Grill between Orders.
