An interesting article on particle physics.
Isn’t it better to call them “undocumented” Particles?
Now there’s a switch. It seems laws are only for the big particles.
“Settled science.” :)
What about the Obama Particle? It doesn't even have documentation that it's from this universe.
Then, there is the Michelle Transgender Particle that has a dangling Particle.
Just call them Democrats.
> Standard Model has proved strikingly accurate
amazing what you can do with a physics model when you ignore gravity completely
Social Justice Particles.
Seriously though... there's something missing in the theory.
‘Laws’ that are not universally relevant are not laws. That’s not to detract from those great astrophysicists who have formulated ‘laws’ that have opened minds and that explain much. However, unless we accept the premise that there are no absolutes regarding how matter and energy behave in the universe, then we have to accept that we don’t really have an explanation that holds up to all scrutiny and all contexts.
Now that’s funny!
Real scientists know there is no such thing, and would be disappointed if there were (it would put them out of a job).
I’m sensing Sheldon Cooper has his hand in this somehow.
If this is really from Scientific American, why didn’t they blame it on global warming?
I’m sure the writer is just trying to be cheeky, but the particles aren’t breaking any laws, the Stanard Model just doesn’t fit with physical reality.
EBT Particle.
If at any time you inspect its state, it claims to be disabled and disappears in a flash of ‘dindunuffinness’.
If anyone denies its existence as a protected particle, it will call a swarm of its cohorts and ‘burn all those mothers down’.
I would not put too much into this. It is a Scientific American article. They are big Gore supporters for global warming. Fake science article.

Articulates about particulates
Predicted behaviours go bust
To understand we lust
Chase the truth a must
With brains of dust
Crash them all
The colliders song
No end in sight
Just being strung along
Albert...Werner...Isaac
You set the course
New knowledge we get
Brings joy and remorse
