I always get chills when the Penguins fans sing the National Anthem.
Louder than any other American team fans that I am aware of.
Jeff Jimerson started encouraging people to sing along a year or so ago. I’m glad it sounds good.

There was apparently an issue with a microphone used for the national anthems prior to Game 3 between the Ducks and Oilers in Edmonton.
Canadian country music star Brett Kissel was supposed to perform the anthems, however, as he stepped up to the mic, he soon discovered that there seemed to be a malfunction.
With some quick encouragement from Kissel, fans at Rogers Place stole the show with stirring renditions of both the American and Canadian national anthems.

That was amazing. The OT not so much. I hope Sid isn’t seriously injured. It looked bad. I noticed very few are mentioning that Ovechkin is the first one who injured him, Niskanen finished him. In real time it looked orchestrated. I won’t watch a replay until tomorrow. It would make me too angry to sleep.
I’m not giving up hope yet but losing Crosby and Sheary would be a heavy blow.

Pens win. I hope they polish these turds off the next game and then the whole Capitals organization is swallowed up in a sinkhole deep enough to crap out Ovechkin back in Russia.

Great execution of strategy by the Pens. Winning ugly is winning. Took a lot of heart/guts on their part to pull it off.
I loved seeing Oshie in the box (still sorry GMJR didn’t trade for him).

They (the Caps) can blow by the net at 90mph and center with the best of them. The problem is nobody is at home or closes the deal when they center, and their appetite for mixing it up on the boards for dozens of seconds at a time doesn’t seem to be where it needs to be to get further towards the Cup.
Th Caps just do not have character. They won’t lay everything on the line to win. The Pens will and that’s why they win.
