Oh, for the old days when stewardesses wore hotpants and miniskirts and were gorgeous. Lately, I’ve seen a lot of gay stewards among the not-so-hot ordinary attendants. Nothing wrong with that as long as service is okay. But I miss the old days.

You're painting with a pretty broad brush there and it's not fair. There are plenty of democrat women who are young, fat and ugly too!
And it cuts down on fuel consumption on the international routes to only have the slender petit ones aboard.
