Wasn’t Roy Innis the one on the set of Geraldo’s show when the white supremist tagged Geraldo with the chair?

I met him a couple of time and listened to some of his speeches - He was one of the good guys.

I worked for Roy at CORE for a brief period in the 1970s. He didn’t fit the mold that the elites expected from a “civil rights” leader. He walked his own path, set his own pace, took his own council and did not let others steer him off course. As far as any “following” he did not succeed as well as some others who took the “civil rights” path expected of them, the one that made them celebrities to the media.

Where is/was the Juan Williams report on Roy Innis given? Is it still available somewhere?

You might find the clip on “The Five” web site. It was Juan’s contribution to the “One More Thing” segment at the very end of the show. I think it was Tuesday — maybe yesterday.

Polarizing?

Yes, polarizing. He was off the Democrat plantation way before it became semi-fashionable.

What a loss for us. Rest in peace, Sir. Condolences to Niger and his family. God be with you all. :(
