The media has barely mentioned the growing homeless problem under Obama. I expect that to change once Trump is sworn in.
Titanic Lives Matter.
Sorry, it wasn’t directed at you personally.
THere are a few subjects which have been beaten to death. And yet people keep writing books about.
1) Titanic.
2) Kennedy Assassination
They don’t have anything new to add, and the fire in the coal bunker on Titanic is well known.
People fall for this stuff every time. New evidence suggests.....insert Titanic, Kennedy. How many times have you heard this in the last 30+ years.
It starts to grate on you after such a long time.
One of the first things they did after bringing up some salvaged plates was to run tests on them and it was found that the samples showed average toughness of 55 MPa-m**0.5 at 0°C....that was actually a very acceptable value for this application. It was the rivets.....
If they tell a lie long enough, it becomes the truth?
Thats why i get so suspicious of repeticious news articles, social networks brainwashing.
Actually I have read that imperfect, cheap steel or iron was used in the hull of the Titanic.
Supposedly the Olympic was involved in a collision that Lloyd's of London refused to pay for repairs to the Olympic, and it wasn't economically feasible to for White Star to afford the repairs themselves.
Lots of tinfoil conspiracy theories, and the farther away from the time of the event, the easier the theories are to make plausible.
But Rosie said Fire Can’t melt steel remember?
Actually, the regulations called for 16 lifeboats for a ship the size of the Titanic. Blame the Board of Trade for not updating their regulations, but I wouldn’t call the White Star Line “evil” for following the regulations of the day. Actually, they exceeded the regulations by putting in the four collapsible boats; and in the event, those four boats saved upwards of 100 people— most if not all of whom would have died if the White Star Line hadn’t gone above and beyond what was required of them.
Hindsight is 20/20. At the time, they felt that their sturdily built ship would withstand any eventuality; and besides, the newfangled wireless device could surely summon an entire fleet of rescue ships before such a well-built ship as the Titanic could possibly founder.
Yep. It took quite a while for the ship to sink. Plenty of time to get just about everyone off IF they had enough life boats.
Don’t forget that the media will also start putting flag draped coffins on the news again.
Actually not a new theory. There has been speculation that the steel used in construction was inferior quality and the fire in the coal storage area was not a secret nor was this the only ship to have such a fire. What affect, if any, these may have played I doubt we will ever know.
Pussy Hats?
Okay,
I will let it slide.
Substandard rivets and steel that was brittle at the temperatures encountered that night.

I always thought arrogant stupidity did it. When did God get blamed?
He’s fleein’ the interview. He’s fleein’ the interview.
