I will not have it in my home. There first must be a way to turn it “OFF-OFF” with no remote turn on!

The "off off" switch is unplugging the unit from the wall.
However, if you want another reason not to buy, the email list creeped me out today with their Valentine's day suggestions.
The accompanying picture--two guys enjoying their Valentine evening meal.
I guess Alexa doesn't want us to pro-create so the machines can rule!
Note to Alexa: If we don't breed you will have to manufacture your future slaves.
