Wrong the judge must be in the jurisdiction and have authority over such matters.
Yeah, she generally leaves off the part about missing the deadline.
Jillian Stein is a moron!
According to Stein, the United States should use force only when there is “good evidence that we are under imminent threat of actual attack”. When asked by the Los Angeles Times editorial board whether that standard would have prevented US involvement in World War II, Stein answered, “I dont want to revisit history or try to reinterpret it, you know, but starting from where we are now, given the experience that weve had in the last, you know, since 2001, which has been an utter disaster, I dont think its benefited us.” Asked whether such a standard would force the US to withdraw from all of its mutual defense treaties, Stein answered that the treaties need to “be looked at one by one”, mentioning NATO in particular.

Link to some of Judge Diamond’s ratings...of note are the low ratings from criminal defense attorney’s and private civil litigants. As a former federal criminal investigator, I see that is a good thing.
One comment that is noteworthy and indicative of the Judge’s approach (a good sign):
“I think the majority of comments must be from disgruntled litigants. A no-nonsense judge, he manages his cases and moves his docket along with a firm hand. But I have found him smart, fair, and prompt in his decisions, which are well-reasoned. That’s not to say I have always agreed with his rulings. That is why we have appellate courts.”
And a fed order means she doesn’t have to pay, doesn’t it?
That must be part of their strategy if they are to get the federal court system involved.
Hypothetically, a state could have an election for its legislature. State law would require the legislature to appoint the electors. Then there would be no effect by voters directly on the electors just through their elected representatives.
What time will we know the decision?
“But a federal issue can be raised if their is some evidence that people were denied the right to vote.”
There is no right to vote.
He battled his way to the top!
Latest from Roebuck on philly.com: “U.S. District Judge Paul S. Diamond did not immediately indicate whether he would grant Stein’s lawyers a hearing. Federal election law requires that all election disputes be resolved prior to Dec. 13 - six days before the Electoral College is scheduled to meet.”
I just tweeted the reporter directly and got a notification reply...no tweet thread that I am aware of...might be on his personal page. Here is an excerpt from his latest from philly.com:
“U.S. District Judge Paul S. Diamond did not immediately indicate whether he would grant Stein’s lawyers a hearing. Federal election law requires that all election disputes be resolved prior to Dec. 13 - six days before the Electoral College is scheduled to meet.”
If they could ban Republicans from polling places on election day, as voters, all the votes would be cast for Democrats or for third-party candidates. Why haven't they thought of that?
I am just suggesting what they are going to raise.
