We have a couple of hummer feeders out all year long. We have a bunch of them. We also have hummer fights every single day. There will be one bull hummer that decides the feeder is his and will literally guard it.

bird people.. haaa!

those same folks are plugging their eyes as wind turbines whack our bald and golden eagles and solar plants fry birds in midflight..

I bet that little fellar taste just like chicken.. all white meat too. ;-)

I got a hugh passle of the regular hummers around this year.. man, can they drink .. that reminds me to make a run for more nectar.

but I’ll be damned if I’m gonna drive over the hill to santa cruz to see a bird.

There is a theory that the species of hummingbird that normally migrates to Mexico every year is about to split into 2 subspecies because half of them no longer migrate to Mexico but rather hang out in South Texas due to all the people that feed them.

I can already hear Mexicanos like Vicente Fox, blaming America for ‘stealing’ their Mexican Hummingbird, the same way we ‘stole’ Texas from Mexico. Deal with it, Mr. Bad Hombre!//
