On one hand I don’t think he should go running off the rails. Anytime you are acting spontaneously on the defensive, off the cuff, reacting rather than making the other side react, you’re playing their game. To that end, I say, he should be doing stuff to make her make mistakes, not responding to her stuff. If anything let the other people on his campaign do that, and let him just keep attacking her record and making them spend time responding.
At the same time I like the nature of Trump’s responses, because they are not career politician, lawyer responses. He talks the way a lot more people can relate to, than she does. He can get his ideas across without being stuffy or rehearsed.
In short, his delivery is good for connecting with people, but he needs to let his underlings respond to Clinton’s attempts to screw him up, and he just needs to keep hammering her record and credibility, and make them go on the defense.
Amazing how so many “concerned” folks keep doing their best to break the enthusiasm of Trump supporters - especially at this stage when he is our only choice and any doubts that get instilled only serve Hillary and her Satanic agenda......if you won’t be supportive, at least don’t be a “Richard”....
This is a great parroting of the MSM’s and uniparty’s advice to Trump. Never stand up for yourself. Pretend you are above it all...like Bush and Romney. If you fight the Left’s lies and slanders, no one will vote for you. Fighting back is “off message.”
Whether he is effective in shutting down the slander is debatable; but it is not debatable on whether he should address Hillary’s attacks especially when they are targeting women and minority voters.
We are at the unbelievable point where the future of our country is hostage to one man’s ego.
He should/could be double digit points ahead, but he simply can’t keep from taking the bait when the Clinton political machine starts up with their opposition research. He is going to endure a concentrated 30 day attack on him personal life and his past personal and business practices.
Fortunately, Hillary has so many people who distrust her that his minor league political style still hasn’t completely ruled him out.
He will owe this country a debt that can never be repaid if he loses this damn election.
Yeah, isn’t it sad?
