I believe that the biggest issue facing us is the corruption of the media, and I include in that term not just MSM outlets, but the entertainment and social media companies. Were there even a modicum of neutrality, republicans would never lose an election. Dems cannot compete when the truth is reported, but it is actively hidden by the press.
It must be obvious by now that his has very little to do with bias, it has everything to do with active collusion and an ownership structure antithetical to our values. It’s the scum at the very top, not the talking heads, who simply say and do exactly what they are paid to say.
The republic cannot exist without a free press. We do not have one. It has been eaten by the left. We focus our ire where it does not belong—at the talking heads, who are mere functionaries. The power lies in perhaps 20 individuals in media and Hollywood that control, in large part, what Americans see, hear, and thus believe. The internet has lessened their impact to a degree, but we now see that Politico, for example, is bought and paid for with reporters vetting their articles with the DNCd before even showing them to their editors.
Of course the press cannot report on this aspect of the scandal, focusing only briefly on Wasserman Shultz and Sanders, which is really the smallest part of the scandal.
It goes beyond bias. It goes even beyond collusion. Fact is that media is owned by a cabal of anti-American leftists who call the tune as to what Americans see, hear, and thus believe. The internet has helped, but as it has expanded, MSM has simply grown into that area as well. We saw Politico vetting its stories with the DNC before sending even to the Politico editors.
There is no free press, there is only a business devoted to furthering leftist ideas. Far from the press being a lapdog of the left, it is an attack dog against America’s ideals.
Here’s an interesting report to consider: Hollywood worked for decades scripting/preparing us for HRC presidency.
I agree we need to bring RICO charges against the major media magnates and politico power brokers. There is probably an opportunity right now to turn Roger Ailes as a states witness.
