I started out this election cycle a very big Cruz supporter, he said the right things, he had the right tone.
About 3 or 4 months ago he completely sold out to the establishment and big donors and thereby lost my vote to TRUMP.
Tonight I watched Cruz do a 2000 election John McSwine temper tantrum.
Cruz wants to run again, he took an OATH.
TONIGHT HE BROKE THAT OATH.
I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR SUCH A DISHONORABLE MAN.
I CANNOT; I WILL NOT, EVER VOTE FOR A DISHONORABLE, DESPICABLE, LOWLIFE LIKE I SAW TONIGHT.

It may have gone differently if Donald had publicly apologized for all the stuff he said about Ted’s family. Now a Trump fan, but just saying.

I, like most on this board, am a Conservative, both fiscally and socially. I am pro-Trump and think the Washington D.C. swamp needs to be drained and cleaned up...both parties. I think the majority of Conservatives do. So why are Conservative leaders like Ted Cruz adamantly claiming the purity high ground by refusing o support a nationalist like Donald Trump who has proven that he is more appealing to more voters than Ted Cruz did? Since when is it intellectually intolerable to support a nationalist yet tolerable to support faux conservatives like Mitt Romney, John McCain, George Bush and Bob Dole? Trump, the man has many shortcomings, but if he wins and brings about needed reform in this country then what difference does it make if he’s not a Conservative? Shame on Cruz for thinking of himself first and the country second.

Watched that pathetic speech.

What was it, 10 minutes? Seemed like an hour.

What an insular bubble he must have constructed around himself to not have learned a single thing in the past year about not being repellent, nor having a confidant who could give him a clue.

This is a nasty little SOB who could have landed on the Supreme Court but now deserves nothing.

P.S. I missed the Walker speech. Did he endorse the candidate? Do we have a list yet of the 16 dwarfs and their decision on whether to endorse Trump?

I was a Cruz guy at the start. He echoed all the conservative principles. Serious doubts surfaced when he joined Glenn Beck at the border, handing out teddy bears and soccer balls to foreign lawbreakers at the border. As soon as Trump appeared, I saw Cruz as a faker; Donald Trump was the only person to take border security seriously, and the only one in the fight to win.

I have two very young grandchildren who mean everything to me. For whatever part he may have played tonight in delivering Hillary to us I can never forgive him.
