I think it’s blankets.
The eyes that match the coat are amazing.
I think the major problems emerge when you want to apply the lessons to others more than to yourself.
Bingo!
Snow is forecast for the weekend here. Panic in the streets, dogs and cats living together, pizza omelettes and milk sandwiches!
I assume you're referring to the ten really, really good suggestions? ;) Seriously, you're right. His preference would have been to relate to people directly, but the people said they wanted an intermediary (Deut 5:27). He had to wait a couple of thousand years to move back to the original plan.
We have a winner!!!
The world is just getting curiouser and curiouser! The wind is really ugly and cold, and I’m glad I don’t have to go out in it again, except to check the mail. I’m not even going out with the Peeps this morning.
I’m trying to think of a good job to do today, and I can only think of one that needs doing desperately — updating my Rolodex file.
I just put $10 of gas in the truck and was lucky to get 2.75 gallons. I hope that lasts me all month. The wind was so cold when I was pumping the gas that I wondered why I was even out there, and could it have waited until tomorrow?
Ungh. I just tried to print a document and the colored inks are empty. As a result, the printer won’t print. The package of color cartridges (three) is $25 and there are other things I need to spend the money on. So I have emailed Epson about bypassing the nagging of the printer to install the color cartridges. I’ve always been able to bypass the color, and use black only but this printer is a lot different in so many ways!
And the exercise has made me hungry!
hmm... funny, I thought it was one of those pre-school pasta crafts projects in Network Wirin 101.
Must be a Rorschach test of a sort.
Pasta wouldn’t hold up for the sculpting, even al dente. But that’s pretty clever, anyway!
It’s all about the art of drying...think expensive hair stylist... form, schpritz, and blow. viola! Cello bella!
Furriners? We have furriners here on Free Republic?
In the age of Trump no less?
Awdang. I just spent the last hour on my personal history and I just realized I’m shaking. Dang. I think I’ll go down the street and find something to soothe the nerves.
I shouldn’t though. I may need other things.
Still, I got two pages done (or was it three?) and I feel good about that, but man...I’m just wondering how I’m going to get through this thing...
You could just let it go, let it go ...
While I was at Walmart, Tom came home.
Yes, I could.
But then I realize that this chapter of my life sets the stage for the ensuing chapters, and though I can’t change the past, I can alert those in my future. And don’t let anyone try to convince you that putting it all onto paper is cathartic. It isn’t.
But this also explains why it’s so long between entries. It is taking the courage I never thought I had. And now, I need another breathing treatment. *sheesh*
You got the shakes?
I feel a Taylor Swift song coming on.
Well, best wishes! A husky just wandered into our back yard. Jake was not pleased.
I’m sorry Jake was so territorial about a completely strange interloper of the opposite family. I guess he’ll always have that “Bad Boy” stigma about him. *haha*
I’m going to head for the warmth of my bed. My power bill was higher than I liked, after being gone for a week, and my heater being shut off for that time, so I’m now trying to stay warm with lots of layers.
Tomorrow will be a better day, I know. I have a friend in northern Utah who is going to undergo quadruple by-pass surgery in the morning, and he is a little apprehensive. He’s 70, but has had a cholesterol problem for years, exacerbated by diabetes. So I’m going to be saying lots of prayers for him and for the medical teams assigned to him in any capacity.
And with that, I’m outta here for the night! See you in the morning!
And by the way: I overslept this morning. I didn’t wake up until almost 0500. *gasp* My bad!
Have a good night!
Hope you have a good night! I will be leaving soon for the Stewardship Committee meeting. I made snacks!
Happy New Year! (a bit late)
