Awww...squee!
I know there’s a totally inappropriate cat-tion for that photo, but I can’t think of one. Maybe it’s too early.
Good morning. I’m about to start cooking a large batch of the Chickpea Dish for some people in the homeschool association who had a baby. When we go to deliver it, we can also go to the library.
Elen ate some of the noodles I need, so she’s going to make Tom drive her to Walmart to replace them, as soon as it’s light.
I think that’s the same massive storm that we’re going to get the nasty tail end of, starting today.
I want summer. Really. I’ve had enough winter, thanks. Either I’m getting older or the winters are getting colder because they’re going clear to the bone, these days.
It’s cold here, too, but there’s no sign of precipitation. We will have Sunbeam in about half an hour.
My stomach is bothering me this morning, but I’ll survive. I had a hard time falling asleep last night, and this morning I feel like the rag wheels of heck.
I’ll just sit here for a while and do quiet things, like work on a talk for Zeke. His handwriting shows that he has two emotions: Angry and ballistic. But he has a good heart and helps a lot of people, so he can’t be all bad.
LOL!
Pat is lurking here, yearning over maths. I'd better go start chopping vegetables!
I got the wind notice, too. You may rememberhow these concrete canyons can concentrate a gust. At 6’2” and 170 lbs I’m not easy to blow over, but I’ve been brought to a stop.
Looks to be a fun day.
On the other hand, a bid I’m part of has oral presentations today. If we win I’ll be at DSNY through early 2018 at least.
Bless you.
You’re an awfully nice member of your homeschool association to go deliver babies like that.
Nope, it's the Weight Watchers. Your bones are easier to get to, now.
Oh. That may be true! I never thought of that!
Yeah. I’m driving an Enterprise rent-a-car while mine gets a ‘new’ tranny, wheel bearing, and clutch.
I go to Enterprise because my cell phone’s number is one reversed number pair from an Enterprise office.
I get about a call a week for them.
Greetings NTI.
Hope the world is revolving correctly with you. :)
That’s why there are polar bears in the cold areas but not ants.
We generate heat according to our volume but radiate heat according to our surface area. As things get bigger their volumes always go up faster than their surface areas.
Skinny people need warm places or big fur coats.
6’2” @170lbs......
I feel like a lard arse now. :)
Nothing is beyond my powers!
I have a faux fur coat that I bought when I was working...I named it “Sasquatch.”
Tom has 2” and 100 lbs. on you. If you think you see a bear, it’s probably him.
Tom is the same size as my son, but my son isn’t quite as shaggy.
This has been a “busy” morning. I went to get the pain pills and the ones for my neck were ready as well, so I just wiped out what was left.
I have to get a few more things to eat like four yogurt and 6-12 rice puddings. (They only come in packages of six or 12.)
I took some cayenne for my stomach and it helped for a bit, but the thing is starting up again. And I’m tired. No news flash, there.
A sandwich and a beer sounds good, but I don’t have either one. So I’ll focus on something else. But what? Hmmm...soup, maybe? Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches sound really good on a day like today. Now all I need is the soup and sandwich and cheese. Ha-ha! Igor used to say, “If we had some bacon, I’d like some bacon and eggs, if we had some eggs.”
