I want to go to Walmart for pumpkin and pie crusts and whipped cream, but I’ll just take a shower instead.
Kitten is full of vim. I feel like I’m full of lead! DP is going to take the van to get a tire repaired, and then we’ll go to Monroe.
This is the time of year that I try not to stray too far from home. Which is why I’m staying home tomorrow. I don’t want to be a statistic.
I will stay home and enjoy my Thanksgiving by being thankful for all my blessings, which include friends and FRiends.
I was invited out for dinner for tomorrow, but come to find out, the in-laws are all coming, and I just will not fit in. So I will stay home. I didn’t even think to get a TV dinner. But Ohwell.

Two cats and two dragons are staring at me with undisguised hostility. They’ve all been fed, so I’m not sure what the problem is.
Uh oh. I don’t speak dragon. Never sure what other cats are saying. Fortunately, Mr. Sg speaks fluent cat and dog. Prayers up, and walk in beauty, my friend!

I made some chocolate chip cookies because that’s what I had on hand. I did find a can of Reddi-Whip in the back of the fridge that expired in 11:14...
The sun is shining and life is good.
I’m going to finish my movie list today. I started yesterday, but after two pages, I still didn’t find any John Wayne, Jacques Cousteau or Little Rascals, so I had to dig out the other album. And there they were!
But I’m sleepy again. It appears to be relapse time for me, and I figured it was going to come, soon, since I’ve done all that packing. So I will probably turn in a couple of hours earlier today than I have been. I’m just not getting the rest I need. Dangit. If I could have one wish, it would be that I had 24 hours with absolutely NO symptoms! *sigh* But it is what it is, so I will deal with it.
Jake had some sunshine, and then he went out and rolled in the dirt, right after I vacuumed and mopped. It’s like he’s another son.
I went out for some sunshine, but it was too chilly to stay out for long. And I gave away all the cookies I could.
This is probably the first Thanksgiving I can recall without pumpkin pie. But not the first without turkey. The first Thanksgiving as a wife, we had leftover macaroni and cheese for dinner. And we were very thankful for that!
So I’m thankful for everything I have. I’m not homeless and I’m warm, and I will have something to eat, but not turkey, and I’m relatively healthy. So I have a lot to be thankful for. I have friends and FRiends and family members that don’t talk to me, but I’m thankful for them anyway.
Tomorrow may be Thanksgiving, but I’m thankful every day for what I do have. Life is good! :o])

Then the group from the gym came in and got rice all over. *sigh* I boiled some sweet potatoes for tomorrow’s pies and gave Santana a bath. It’s about to be Naptime.
DP and Bill have gone to the Chinese grocery store on a quest for something exotic.
My ex-aide is coming to bring me Chinese lunch and pick up her mail. I don’t want to visit with anyone, but she wants her mail. And she is bringing her 6 year old daughter who doesn’t know how to not touch things that aren’t hers. Grrrrr.
But she won’t stay long. I’m not feeling all that great right now, anyway.
Aw, man? I hate when that happens!
Sussette was here, and brought orange chicken, which I don't really like, but I ate some. I'm pretty tired right now, so I'm glad they left. Sarah was fairly decent this time, having her own iPad to play with. I just wish I'd had enough change for a beer with my lunch.
My eyes are burning, now, for some reason.
So what was the exotic thing that DP and Bill got from the Chinese grocery store? Anything fun?
