The article doesn’t mention: Norton Security for Mobile.

That has a different version # starting point.

Does anyone have any info about the NS Mobile app having the same problem, and if so, how do we fix it?

Doing an update might not fix this since Symantec did not provide info on it.

Thanks for any help or info.

If you spend most of your computing time in a browser or creating simple office documents you don’t need Windows. Get a Chromebook or load Chromebook free software on your old laptop. Chromebooks don’t get viruses. Google designed Chromebooks from the beginning for security.

For free Chromebook software Google “CloudReady” or “Cub Linux”.

This is garbage.

I’ve had Norton Anti-Virus since I first got a computer.
I NEVER HAVE COMPUTER ATTACKS.
I use the program by updating it every day for every little thing the program shows needs updating.
I have NEVER HAD MALWARE. Even though I did have a window open up [once] telling me that somebody was trying to load malware on my system .. they never succeeded.
I have had many attempts trying to load Trojan software on my system .. but Norton always catches it.
I get a report every month showing me all the times my computer was contacted by a person wishing to do me harm; every time, Norton was able to neutralize it.

I consider these complaints to be sour grapes.

The secret to Norton is to update it every day .. because the changes they give you save your computer from bad stuff. I know a lot of people can’t be bothered to run these programs .. and then they are the ones who whine the loudest that Norton is bad.
