Glad you liked it Lurker. I have re-read it a few times and it gets better each time. And the violence the left is throwing at Trump rally attendees only reinforces this satire.

This whole meme of connecting Trump to Hitler is so incredibly extreme as to be comical. Nothing about Trump creates that associate. On the other hand, the intolerance and violence of the Democrats, their lies, and doublespeak sure might create some comparisons.

Based on the fact that only Hitlery and Bernie supporters are acting like fascist brown shirts, yes, it seems like satire. However, lobotomized lefties are likely to think he’s endorsing Hitlery, missing the point entirely.

As I have often said, I have no psychic powers and I don’t know which candidate would be the best president. But I do know which outcome is most likely to get me killed by my fellow citizens. So for safety reason, I’m on team Clinton.
My prediction remains that Trump will win in a landslide based on his superior persuasion skills. But don’t blame me for anything President Trump does in office because I endorse Clinton.

The last part of his essay is worth readying carefully as it is only half funny. His prediction of an eventual insurrection or assassination directly resulting from what Hillary is currently saying may be prophetic. Speaking about the opposing party’s presidential nominee as she is doing is nothing short of seditious.
Dunno. May be the real thing. So brilliant that few “GET IT”? Kind of like the brilliance of “The Rite of Spring” but no one could stand it.

He is actually agreeing with you. I can't tell if he is joking, or not. But, he's essentially endorsing Clinton because he is being threatened by Clinton supporters:

Trump supporters don’t have any bad feelings about patriotic Americans such as myself, so I’ll be safe from that crowd. But Clinton supporters have convinced me – and here I am being 100% serious – that my safety is at risk if I am seen as supportive of Trump. So I’m taking the safe way out and endorsing Hillary Clinton for president.

I honestly don't know if he is doing so to make a point via satire, or if he really is receiving enough threats to make him uncomfortable.
Perhaps his next blog post will make that clear. But, Scott appears to be making a statement of finality... this may be the last post he writes on the subject.
Or, you could read the rest of his blog post. Only an excerpt has been posted, but isn't labeled as such.
Then, you can decide if it's satire, or if he is serious about why he chose his endorsement.
Actually, I don't think the statement where he clarifies that he is being 100% serious is funny at all.
Scott explicitly said that he isn't afraid of Trump supporters. But, something he has been hearing/reading from Clinton supporters has him rattled.
