I just flew Laguardia to Tampa and one of the TSA agents at LGA was wearing a burka scarf...
Interesting - but it seems this was done with one iPad at one airport. It looks like this also was not stolen from a bag, but left in the TSA screening line.
How about multiple items at multiple airports, to show worst offenders and show a PATTERN of TSA management?
There’s an obvious reason obama ruled that federal applicants can’t be asked to “check the box” asking if they have criminal convictions. But don’t be concerned; it’s all being done in the noble quest to redistribute income to those most in need.

I have to agree. And kudos to Tom Daschle, who insisted that federalizing these thieves would insure that they would be professional.
Absolutely correct. If there is stuff you value that you need at your destination, put it in a box and send it. If it costs you $50 to ship it, weigh that against what the items are worth in terms of their replacement value. Because they WILL disappear. If you need a watch, go buy a $7 Casio watch somewhere.
I know it costs extra, but consider shipping anything you wouldn’t want to lose by UPS or FedEx. UPS even sells cardboard shippable suit cases.
Same here; I drive to where I’m going, even if it takes two days.
What did they lift out of your carry-on?
They stole an expensive first generation kindle I bought my dad from his luggage on the way home from a family Christmas celebration. I pack nothing of value. If I can’t carry it on board I ship it ahead of time. They are theiving scum who are never held to account.
I’m awfully sorry for your loss, but do not pack anything of perceived value (including medicines) in suitcases where the TSA thieves can surreptitiously rifle through your things. If you can’t bring them in carry on, use FedEx or UPS to ship them to your destination.
