This movie is beyond stupid, I predicted it would flop when announced, and stand by that. While the individual women are fine comedians/actors the entire premise is just silly. There is no need to reboot this series, and to recast it to be female led comes off as just pandering....
IE there really isn’t a compelling reason to reboot, the original movie still stands up fine and most people have seen it at some point in their lives.... So, how do we get folks to bite? I know, we’ll cast women for the roles.
Stupid. Again, this won’t be the fault of the women involved, but the thing should have never gotten a green light to begin with.

Idris Elba, who I usually like, playing Roland in the Dark Tower. Sorry powerful actor but Roland has been white since the seventies and his race played a substantial part in several of the books.
I swear watching hollywood these days you’d think the country is 60% black, 20% Latino and 50% glbt.
Did the original Ghostbusters have any kind of political agenda?

When they ran the new Ghostbusters Commercial / Trailer during SNL, I thought is was just another Parody Skit.
Looks much more painful than I imagined. It will Bomb.
Certain movies are classics. They stand alone, decades later, and should not be remade for any reason, least of all SJW posturing.
