I find it strange and alarming that the accuser and both men who aided her have been named in this article.
The Sikh would make life easier for himself if he were to at the very least trim his beard back some. The heavy bush-beard + the Turban + not being able to speak or understand any English made him look suspicious. No, it’s not fair, but with ISIS threatening 3500 New Yorkers online, it is realistic.
Assimilate with American norms, and this is far less likely to occur.

Clueless posts here by you and others.

See post #14 where the wise freeper states that only foreigners and meth heads ride Greyhound. I suggest you read it.

What about the police that did this. I can understand some people are paranoid but the police should know better.

Agree, mostly.
Even if here for asylum, people who come to this country should
1. learn english starting day one if not before legally immigrating
2.know they may be scrutinized more if they choose to follow dressing or customs of their heritage or religion.
We also need to educate ourselves, since so many “refugees” visa workers and such have been flooding in.
Never thought I’d have to learn about all these foreign peoples but, at the moment, it’s in my best interest - for my protection and to not have needless suspicion or concern.

Never confuse a Sikh with a muslime. Besides the fact that the headgear is entirely different, Sikhs are honorable, decent human beings (speaking generally). Read a little bit about their faith and you'll understand.
We all know what muslimes are.

Yes, the Sikh hatred for everything muzlim runs deep.
Observant Sikhs are very concerned about their appearance concerning the turban and hair/beard and their daily dress.
I have encountered quite a few Sikh in my travels in the US and found them to be quite honest, hard working and willing to assimilate as long as their religious beliefs aren’t hindered.
I met one Sikh who was very apologetic that his english was so poor. He got his son to interpret. The apologies lasted about ten minutes.
When the muzzies start acting up and it comes to an out and out street battle with them, I would count myself fortunate to have a Sikh or Gurkha on my side.

Sikh religious offshoot was essentially a warrior faction dedicated to prevent the forcible conversion of people to islam. They should rank at the top of allies in the struggle against it.

The first born daughter and son of a Hindu family was given away to start a new anti Islam religion called Sikhism.
In other words, this religion was created to fight Islam.

Those toys in a bathtub are dead bodies from Air India Flight 182, floating off the coast of Ireland, victims of Sikh terrorism, the majority being children.
Actually, they're not "dead bodies from Air India Flight 182, floating off the coast of Ireland, victims of Sikh terrorism, the majority being children". The photograph is taken from the work of Diana Thorneycroft, a Winnipeg artist who makes weird scenes from dolls and then photographs them. Her website is
here.
Here's another of her works:
