Israel needs to open its doors.
Thank you for not posting that picture, although I know we should become more aware of the Syrian tragedy. For the powerbrokers who could actually change conditions in Syria, that country seems to be nothing more than a gamepiece on the chessboard that is The Middle East. The game that never seems to end.
I’m assuming you forgot the sarcasm tag.
there is massive sadness in Syria since O phuq*ed the place up plunging it into war
I have no love for that country given its history of terrible aggressions and promotion of terrorist murder gangs and continuing refusal to even say it will live at peace
but
there are human beings in there... and they are now being slaughtered (and Christians especially) ... and its is mostly AMERICA”s fault (sorry, it is O’s fault ... but regrettably our political system amazingly saw him elected instead of deported ... and GOP=E Congress just protects and protects and enables every autrocity he commits against USA and anyone else in the world
we have selected a one-man war machine...Syria, Egypt initially, Libya, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan and he continues to try to undermine the security of our allies, too........ is it any wonder the world hates us?
Those who can remember Burdick’s Ugly American can now see how minor his complaint was ...O has totally eclipsed the evil he wrote about, by a thousand fold....and its all in our name (as Americans)
No, I was not. If you want to look at the picture and say it’s not sad... well, I don’t know what to say.
Israel is already providing free medical and surgical care for the injured. and she’s quietly providing sanctuary for some Christians, too...
Syria remains hostile to Israel, however, even threatening to wage further wars against Israel as recently as this very week....
And it would be so much more appropriate for Moslem countries to open their doors especially to all the Moslem victims ... (like say Arabia which is funding much of the violence in Syria..after O, its largely Saudis’s fault)...
Jordan has taken in lots of Syrian Moslem refugees, the other Moslem countries like Saudi Arabia, especially given their complicity in the violence, should do likewise!
What does that have to do with Israel opening their borders?
Maybe Syria needs to get a grip on their war, famine and human destruction.
I never said it did. I just said it was sad.
“I just said it was sad.”
I agree.
Israel has an utter ban on entry of any and every Syrian. Time to open their hearts and border to their suffering neighbors.
Five hundred million Arabs; five million Jews. Think of all the Arab countries as a football field, and Israel as a pack of matches sitting in the middle of it.
- Larry Miller, 04/22/2002, Weekly Standard
And these antisemites say we Jews are whiners.
“Time to open their hearts and border to their suffering neighbors.”
Why? Syria is their enemy.
Is it sad that innocent people suffer at the hand of the US or any OTHER nation ?
Sure ... but it's equally sad and more angering that the government of a nation that perpetrates or allows suffering has to be responsible as well and if a nation will not at least try to correct itself ... well .. it is .... just too bad
I've known of something called "US Foreign Aid" for well over 50 years and in that time ... I can't think of a single instance where our money or efforts were really utilized and did some good to that population
I take it back ... ONE effort was a success .... our massive contributions to re-build post WW2 Europe
other than that ....
Do you ever read history? Ever watch the news? These people bring rape, ruination, and misery wherever they go. They need to stay in Syria enjoy the fruits of their religion and leaders and then change that which does not meet their expectations at the first opportunity.
The problem, as always, is that children suffer the consequences of what adults do.
That’s heartbreaking.
