I wonder why some people are influenced by entertainers rather than voting their own beliefs? Guess it might be easier not to think for ones self.
Not as good of an endorsement for Trump as you think.
Near as I can tell, very few of all the endorsements this season have amounted to anything.
Only thing which intrigues me are the real motivations of the endorsers.
Tell me about it.
Mike Pence endorses Ted Cruz Friday [Free Republic]
Supposedly the dumbest 10% of the 50-60% of eligible voters who bother to vote are the ones that decide national elections. The ones that vote one way and then another the next time and usually can’t give a coherent reason why. The swing voters.
All campaign money is meant to sway the dumbest voters, because they are swayable. Same thing with endorsements and who is a good or bad debater.
Freegards
That’s not fair. I’ve been drinking since 0500 Eastern, and getting ready for bed (I work nights). I wouldn’t post a thread like this even if I had drunk myself into oblivion.
I should add that I don’t have to be back at work until Monday. Happy Happy Hour, everybody!
I am one of those parties of one. i just don’t have the same ‘deep sense of community’ like some others do.
Ahhhh, I stopped drinking at 0500 Eastern. I always wondered who the day shift guy was that takes my place at the bar.......
No need for me to bash. Limbaugh doing quite well on his own.
More like “Rationed Thought”? Rush is a scholar of political science. He may indeed be entertaining from time to time, but most entertainers are not nearly as politically astute as the Doctor of Democracy is, and politics is not his only forte’, either.
IT has been very interesting to listen to Limbaugh of late. As Cruz has slowly crashed and intensified his attacks on Trump, Limbuagh has tried to stay quasi-out of it, but it’s clear that he would have preferred Cruz as the victor.
IT has been saddening to watch Cruz in his desperation of late just push the stick over and drive the plane right into the ground. Naming iCarly was just plain foolishness at the behest of some campaign strategist. He should have just stood his ground, congratulate Trump on his success and look to reclaim some of his dignity.
This idea that he’s going to supplant Trump at the convention on a second vote or whatever is compete insanity. If that were come to pass, there are a great many who will not vote in November. Which elects Killery.
I don’t expect to see Cruz campaigning for Trump in the fall, and if he intends to have any future in national politics, he should start by taking the high road now. Being a sore loser is unbecoming.
Too many prefer to embrace populist memes because they prefer the empty promise of instant reward over hard work.
Regaining our Constitutional Republic is hard work, requiring individual effort.
For those of us who have “our own beliefs”, we want a President with a history of core beliefs, so that we have confidence and a frame of reference regarding their future behavior.
That’s my “Rational Thought” for today.
He doesn’t, he claims it’s an outright endorsement! He’s gone off the deep end and must be losing at least 1/2 10M listeners! Someone said his contract is expiring and he is too.
Can someone point out any accomplishments he has had in the Senate cause I’d love to be able to evaluate his Leadership skills!
“I am one of those parties of one...”
That’s perfectly fine, just don’t expect to ever win in politics.
(By the way, politics is about self interest, so by not participating in politics, means you’re sacrificing some of your self interest, or at a minimum letting others decide for you, which is perfectly fine, if that’s what you want.)
Oh, ANYTHING that wouldn’t make me look like a narcissist! /s
