Those guys were great last night! Saw them at Kelly’s before the game and I knew they were going to be rowdy. Absolutely hilarious!

The Pens were the comeback kids this season for sure, topped by a terrific six game win - too bad you couldn’t win THE CUP at home again.

MVP shoulda been Murray not Crosby.
I was crying. Congrats, Pens fans, you deserve it. But hockey breaks my heart. Was hoping at least to make it to game 7 but the Sharks couldn’t pull it out.
Murray was very good but NAW Crosby was the right choice. He’s the backbone of the team.

The Sharks played a great series and Jones was their MVP.
I was beside myself with some of the saves he made.
I’m glad it’s over - I don’t think I would have made it through another game, especially a Game 7.
I thought Kessel was going to get the MVP.
But Crosby has been a changed player since Coach Sullivan joined the team.
I heard that one of the first things he did was to get the Penguins to “Just Play”.
The line on Sid and the Pens was they complained too much (true) and you could get them off their game by getting under their skin.
It was evident when Crosby repeatedly passed up retaliating against the Sharks for hits after the play.
Congrats to the Penguins on a great year and a super finish.

The World Cup of hockey should be fun and Phil Kessel should be on the US team but I’m glad he’s getting a rest. It’s going to be a looong 2016-17 season for the players who made the teams.
Should have been Murray. If Fluery was in net they would have been on the links three weeks ago. Murray allowed them to play their world class offensive game and their beer league defensive game.
Please for next season Mike Emrick: please retire and take Pierre with you. Nothing ruins a game more than having these 2 jamokes broadcasting. I watched the game without any sound b/c I cannot stand them.
I thought Murray actually cost his team two games in the finals. That in and of itself will lose a Conn Smythe. Also many playoff wins where the result of suffocating defense (hardly beer league) causing low shot totals against. The Sharks were only able to get two shots on goals in the third last night.
The system they play is total team defense with the forwards defensively responsible. Crosby was usually tasked with facing the other teams top lines. Sullivan calls that playing a 200 foot game and strength on strength. You can tell what the assignment for that line is by whether they had Letang behind them (they need offense) or two defensive defensemen (Lovejoy-Maata for the shut-down pair). Nowhere was that more evident than the Washington series where the matchup was Sheary-Crosby-Hornquist vs. Ovechkin-Backstrom-Oshie. On paper that shouldn’t have been close. The Crosby line (make no mistake, those two wingers blow in comparison to Ovechkin-Oshie) was able to hold them in check allowing the other lines the weaker matchups. Malkins line took on Kuznetsov which left the Penguins third line to win the series.
If I were to pick an alternate to Crosby for the Conn Smythe it would be Kessel.
